Are you planning to keep it a short while? If not then dont worry about resale and buy it. If you can afford to run/maintain/insure a car like that then you're not short of a few bob so dont worry about it and enjoy

I found this too.
Having driven my sisters auto Civic which had a fair bit and then the Omega which has virtually none. Although I did prefer it that way to be honest.

I tried Minte discs and pads despite people advising me against it and regretted it. They squealed like a pig and snaked when braking at 70mph
