Hi all, sent you a pm nially
My cambelt kit arrived in the post yesterday and its waiting to go on the car. Only thing is I'm not to clued up on how to do it right nor do I have the special cam tools and from all the horror storries I hear I daren't attemp it without assistance from someone more experienced. :-/ Is there anyone nearby who could lend a hand and some advice at some point? All travel expenses will be reimbursed, and drinks provided
No problem, I know the frustrations as I'm having similar problems with mine.just wont fire properly will paperclip it tomorrow
Yep, as abovemany thanks toby

is this definately the order of cylinders ? :-/QuoteWill take a look thanks kevin and do paperclip test ,all camshafts were removed one by one and put back in same order and timing seems perfect and terminals all in correct order 1,3,5 on left side from front, and 2,4,6 on the right bank all are coloured and numbered on each plug leadFront of engine
4 1
6 3
2 5
DIS
I've never messed with the camshafts, but I doubt you could put them back in the wrong place, why do you think it could be that? How bad is the misfire? did you change the plug leads?no just the plugs were replaced :-/
Silly question, was it misfiring before you pulled it apart? Is the engine management light on?no management light is on and no it wasnt misfiring before
