🤣🤣🤣

Well I saw the thread from Duke about it. I’ll give them a whirl as they’ll really transform the interior

So this is what I’ve found...

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Gear-Handbrake-Gaiter-For-Vauxhall-Omega-C-Automatic-Black-Leather/303560616789?hash=item46ad9f6b55:g:Fm4AAOSwsChess69

I think I’ll have to whip them off to fully understand how they go on 👍

Thanks Amba much appreciated. In all these years I’ve never replaced one. I’ve removed manual ones to get at shift linkages etc but never had to get the needle and thread out 🤣😃😃😃👍👍👍

With little this being a pattern part I can attach this with no stitching I believe. I’ll order and see how they go 😃

I saw this and thought it was a joke as I’d literally just posted a minute before on the subject 🤣

However going on to eBay I see the items, distinguishable as they bare for the Omega C lol

Are these any good with easy fitment?

As per a few of my recent posts the omega has been getting a lot of attention. Finished vinyling the door cards today. Very pleased with the results. Much nicer than the scratches that were on there. Fixed some mechanical niggles too. And fixed one of my HIDs that suddenly stopped working.

Anyway tomorrow is major valet day. The old magic eraser is coming out 🤣 One thing I’d love to sort is the handbrake gaiter, the gearstick gaiter (automatic) and my sport button has lost the “S” marking.

Handbrake gaiters are not sold by Vauxhall’s anymore. Anyone know of a good generic one?

The gearstick gaiter... no idea what to do. It’s not as bad as the handbrake leather but would be lovely to get a new one.

And the sport button. Can I pop this off with a pick and replace?

Cheers nick. I take it you mean strut / shock absorber? I suppose could be top mount related too. They’re due a change anyway and is on my 2020 job list 😃👍👍👍

The upper one is accessible once the cluster is out and cowls removed iirc :y

Cluster? As in the speedo/rev gauges? Bit of a ball ache 🤔 but yeah I’ll get on that as soon as possible.

I’ve been vinyl trimming my door cards where they’ve all scratched (I went for vinyl over the paint, sorry dg). It looks fantastic. It’s some rather odd stuff to use. But a big of practice with the heat gun and it looks sweet. 😃

I also cured my two year pas fluid leak. There’s a pipe that runs from the steering box along the osf chassis rail. Jubilee clip had decided it would rather be a dog. Or a potato. Rather than a jubilee clip. Air box out. New jubilee. Happy days.

I’ve painted my calipers too. Wish photobucket was still working so I could show you guys. Omegas had a lot of attention!
