General Discussion Area / elitepete a big THANKYOU
« on: 25 November 2010, 16:07:16 »
i would personally like to thank (elite)pete for travelling over from chester to york to work on my car, i needed cambelt doing, manifold gasket and camcover gaskets, im handy with spanners etc but felt these jobs were way beyond me  :( and two local garages i took it to, there was a lot of sucking of teeth  :'( anyway pete arrived early wednesday in the freezing cold and got started straight away, before i knew it there was bits of my car flying off everywhere  :o half of them i have never seen before  :-[ but with explanations all the way i am more aware of what happens in my car engine (i think)  :-/
pete managed to do the manifold gasket, cambelt, waterpump, tensioner, camcover gaskets and fitted a new aux belt tensioner that i had oh and a new HBV, cleaning everything as he went, he then went on to clean out the breathers (the crap that came out of them) :-[ done an oil change and replaced antifreeze, all gm parts and fluids, by this time i had the most important job (CHIEF LIGHTHOLDER) ;D ;D
i am still gobsmacked how he managed to do it all in the one day  :o especially when having to take off plenum again because one of the O seals had done a runner (promised i wouldnt tell)  :P :P ;D
all in all a really professional job by a true professional for a remarkably low price  ;D and car is running better than ever  8-)
i would recomend pete to anyone who wants work doing, well on their cars anyways  :y :y :y
cheers pete  :y :y :y
