Tanelised pressure treated already, same as the decking we have :y will be painted black eventually. Or grey possibly.

Noted re felt. Suspected that may be the case. Expecting some further costs. It will need a second door adding.

best part of these type of threads is how long the lurking can go on before the ugly head cant stand it and pops back up  ;D

Yeah they do sneak around out in the boonies. ;D :y

And people from middle earth have a habit of sneaking in and out hoping they don't get seen :)

People of Middle earth know full well everyone knows who they are. Pretty bloody obvious surely. ;D ;)

Omega General Help / Re: rear springs

If you mean this type of thing
http://www.priracing.com/product.php/1488/0/bmw-e36--e46---rear---spring-insulator-upper---12mm

Assuming that's of omega proportions, then yes that will do nicely. They aren't completely ideal as they slightly alter the seating angle and make the spring sit slightly more banana shaped than they should be. But needs must.

Also, be aware that the peg that holds the spring in is only so long. If fitting too many pads or to thick a pad, then there isn't enough leg to hold the spring in. Although 10mm is fine on each end of the spring. :y

Front will be ok at -30mm, it's the rear that can't struggles to achieve the settings over 20mm lower than standard.

Fitting two more spring pads (one each side) raises the height to just with in tolerance with no load.

Have you a link for these super pro thingys? Let's have a look see. :)
