General breakdown in the company. The machine cooling system failed due over temperature. All machines stopped.  I changed 1000 L hot water into cold water and I could start the cooling system again. The molding injector machines will need some hours to cool down. It will be a very long hot evening. Still 31°C outside....

42°C at work, our two molding injector machines are producing 18 kw each. We have a 1m 3kw vent (sounds like a helicopter) but everything seems to melt....

Lahr / Germany will reach ~22°C this June. Not Maximum, average over night and day. That is a subtropical value.

Did some bodywork on my winter Caravan. Sooner or later it is a wounded point of nearly all Omegas. Do not laugh, first have a closer look to your own Omega.

It is the Bermuda Triangle between front length traverse, inner wheel arch and passenger room s front wall. Not easy to go there and difficult to work there. No room...

Have a nice weekend

What is about Polat Tower Istanbul?

The fire was comparable. But it did not went much inside the building. No one was seriously hurt. The tower could be reconstructed and it is still i use.

What went wrong in London?

I never voted for him, I preferred his smaller partner, Genscher s FDP.

But he was an outstanding statesman. Together with Genscher he formed Germany completely new in 1989.

Covered my Omegas with plastic foil. A strong thunderstorm front is coming in from France. The air is like PB. Still 30°C
(GMT +1) , cloudy, steamy....rain... tropical conditions.

Very hot again (33°C on my garage yard) but I prepared my caravan for welding coming weekend. Here is the problem:

passenger room front wall (is that correct in English?)

I want to weld from inside, so I removed passenger seat, carpet, isolation and a 4 inch polystyrene block that levels passenger foot room. I think the Vauxhalls have this block leftside, because the bodys are similar on RHD and LHD.

So I found this inside:

In the upper part of the picture you see the RHD cover for LHD versions.

Before welding I have think about isolation of the gasoline pipes in direct neighborhood.

Best regards

Heard about it this evening. :'(

Terrible. Thinking about the people....

We had a similar fire here in Karlsruhe in a 14 floor block two days ago. One floor burned out. Not more. What is the difference?

Hi EMD

Good luck!

I just found another rust hole on my Caravan.  Inner arch, front right to passenger room. I will remove passenger seat (LHD) and carpet right side this weekend to see what is the going on there. I did the same two years ago on the left side, so I think there will be no existential problems.

Hope the bloody heat wave will be interrupted on Friday / Saturday. 30°C here....forecast for tomorrow: 32°C with thunderstorms later in the evening.

I will report.

Hi EMD

Doc Gollum is right. Omegas especially are rusting on the left side.

Have also a look behind the inner arch covers, especially the front ends of the arches are rusting near the safety belt bolts. And do not forget to look behind the spare tyre. Sometimes a nice hidden rust hole there.
