Dismantled some unit of aircon at front of engine close to fan, service connector (fill up) was shoot out by overpressure. :(  Having found a used one I attempt to change them . Unsuccessfully. :( The ends of pipes are differents so I have to get it repaired by a welder who is able to weld alu aircon pipe as well. Not an easy job to find...I'm investigating away.  8) 8) 8)

Bought some apex lowering springs very cheap last week. Was a simple enough job doing the fronts just tricky to get the rear springs out. Pretty happy with the results. The rear would probably sit down more but i have no fuel in it weighing it down. :)

Ive done a fair bit over the last 14 months of ownership in terms of maintanence and looks.

This time last year:

Looks good!  :y A bit more lower and you can run under the carpet.  ;D Nice job!  :y

Had a new battery fitted this morning!

As far as the abs ecu is concerned, the part numbers etc on the existing unit are: 09 127 952. Also DX 0265230427 if that's any help.

Omega General Help / Starter ability (max starter current) of battery
« on: 01 December 2011, 08:34:42 »
Hi all,

I would like to swap my battery but don't know exactly how many amps starter current required is in case of my 2.5 pre. Some of you have already been so nice to answer me once but I'm afraid of didn't manage to get myself understood properly. Well I'll buy a brand new battery , 70Ah capacity, three version are offered by Opel Database though, namely : 70Ah and 550A max starter current, 70Ah and 680A max starter current, 70Ah and 880A max starter current. There is significant difference between the prices of first and last one, dimensions are the same. So, what sort of battery do you use looking at the starter current ability?

Thx   Laszlo
