Done the brake fluid change, and front discs and pads .... so I deserve a beer  ... however am sitting here drinking water (ugh) with ice (ugh ugh) ..... and nothing else .. no nuts/crisps anything .. :(

Got a blood test at 0830 tomorrow, and allowed nothing but water (and must have 4 pints) from 1830 tonight.. :(

PITA or what .. :(

A rather large Talisker, poured for me by SWMBO as I let her watch crappy Simon Cowell thingy and listened to the rugby on the radio :(

Why listen..Why not watch   :o

Even with a large single malt in me .. I still can't work out how to "watch" on the radio !!!!   :)

Get a rather TV card then   ;D ;D ;D

As most TV cards don't do Freeview, that wouldn't work either .. I could have watched channels 1-5 in the kitchen .. but the rugby was on ITV4 ... and only 1 freeview box in the house ..

and before you ask .. SWMBO didn't want to watch cowell thing on the small TV in the kitchen but wanted the 38" box in the lounge  .. the one attached to the freeview box ...

1.  SWMBO with a voice that rises an octave when she thinks I'm too close .. and remember she drives a clit she has just bent !!

Yeah, I've got one of those parking sensors too. Don't suppose you've found a way to reset them? Mine goes off when I fail to park in the space it thinks would be best and just keeps going until the battery's flat.

 ;)

There's a switch on the back, just under the bra strap !!!!   ;D ;D ;D

Haven't been allowed anywhere near that region for some while .. I was under the impression that once past the age of 50 the "bra strap" became the "bra tensioner" and was made of reinforced kevlar ??  :)

so finding a switch there could prove a dangerous, albeit life threatening, procedure ....  :)

Just a thought ... what is "undertaking" ?

IMHO it is the deliberate movement from an outside lane to the inside lane to pass then moving back to the outside lane.

Now if I am already in the inside lane and I continue in that lane but pass a slower vehicle on my right I have not "undertaken", as the Highway Code, if I remember correctly, specificaly states that it is permissible for vehicles to pass under conditions where those outer lanes are moving slower - ok it is generally for traffic jams - unfortunately I can't check this as the site is down .. new Highway Code tomorrow.

I have done this several times whilst towing, as I sit left at 60-65 and it is the only way of passing the centre lane idiot doing 50 as I'm not allowed in lane 3

Next thing on my list, is a HALFORDS low range torque wrench, I have a clarke one, but it doesn't measure in NM, which is a royal pain in the rear end !

You might like to take a peep at this as well ..  :)

http://www.lawson-his.co.uk/scripts/details.php?cat=Torque%20Wrenches&product=32543

Not a bad piece of kit, Nm and angular head, good positive "click" at the desired torque, only used it twice so far .. but seems ok to me ...  :)

Do you mind me asking .. what's the difference between the one you bought at £50 and the one on ebay

presently at £21, though it will probably go up ...

look identical to me .....but I know nothing ...  :)
