You need to use a special mastic for attatching bodykits.
I tried useing double sided trim tape but could not get it to stick securely. Having used the correct stuff (thats a technical term) it is rock solid and looks good you'd never know it wasn't done by a profesional :D

I used the product below

My current miggy.
If I discount my mig it would have to be my 2.0 CDXi Carlton I was sad to get rid of it, it had a bad tin worm infection

I found out from bitter experiance the the 2.5 back box will not fit a 2.6 saloon as the tailpipes are not long enough they dont clear the bumper on the facelift, which means exhaust gasses are not clearing the back of the car properly. the garage I bought my car from fitted one when the car failed the MOT on exhaust have since changed it for 3.2 back box

I tend to agree most modern cars are pig ugly not only BMW. What happened to style and design. When I was a lad the world seemed to be full of cars I wanted to own now there is nothing I would swap my miggy for save two the awsome VXR8 or Monaro not that I could afford either of them, still one can always dream

My 2.6 seems fast enough to me, my only complaint is it didn't come with a twin exhaust which looks so much better

I am currently looking for a 3.2 back box but not having any luck (but I don't want to pay full price as I'm as tight as a ducks bum) thought I'd take a chance and put that last bit in just in case somebody on OOF has one going spare sorry havn't got enough posts yet
