« on: 13 December 2018, 18:43:37 »
It was our Xmas meal today, as we left the office my ex assistant decided to get changed,
in the middle of the office,
top off dress on, jeans removed,
apart from the tits barely contained in the bra so far so good,
then asks me if bare legs or tights pulling her dress up to her waist,
I suggested stockings but none to be had.

she made a happy man feel very old today, I`m almost 3 times her age.

I remember the old half crown and tanner.

Some on here will remember when the groat was still legal tender. :)

You don't mention the "Threepenny Bits" Opti. . . .

most unlike you not to mention those  ;D ;D ;D

Well designed coin. One that couldn't roll away when dropped. :y

specially designed so you could use a spanner to remove it from a yorkshiremans grip.

I've been getting lots of overseas calls recently.  Ireland, Lithuania and Latvia today!  ::)

I asked a girl what colour knickers she was wearing. She hung up!  :y  ;D

we were in the Baltics this summer, the women were all stunners, they must make the ugly ones stay indoors.

I suppose we all have things that we find annoying about other drivers. I travel north on the A19 from York to Thirsk quite a bit & for its entirety its a single lane highway. lots of times there is a car doing 20mph under the permitted speed limit, not only that often they whenever a car comes towards them move over to the nearside & slow down even more. I wont mention the tractors.  :)

I find that whe I go to Easingwold, the several crossroads make it interesting, as cars just pull out without looking.

1m is a minimum for clay to avoid shrinkage/heave, if trees nearby expect more.

You know you do not have to use the Council's Inspector, and in any event, IME after multi building projects, you will be lucky to see him once. :y
Our neighbour used an independent inspector for their single storey garage conversion and he turned out to be an absolute nit picking nightmare, he wanted every detail in writing , even down to snow load calculations ! naturally he could very kindly recommend a structural engineer for the snow load calculations at a not inconsiderable sum , he's still waiting for it to be signed off more than a year later  :(

ahem... I was told last month of one claiming he had damaged a tyre on his car on the last visit, so "£300 would make it go away" no new tyres on his car, turns out he had done the same before,
unqualified inexperienced staff wont make a decision,

if the above job isnt signed off the AI will cancel the notice so it falls back on the local authority, needs another application (and fee) and work exposing.

We went in a group (3) land rovers, we have a 130 ex ambulance camper the others had roof tents,  https://robinhoodoverlanders.com/blog/

Poland is a beautiful country but the roads are dreadful,

Lithuania Latvia Estonia are all like stepping back 50 years, the people are very friendly,

Btw most of them seem to like bikes, so loads of early 20s girls in hotpants with legs that go on forever. Keep your eyes on the road.

I've always wanted to do a road trip round the Baltics.   8)

Basically, ferry to Calais and turn left, keep going to Poland and then into Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.  If brave enough, nip into Russia, through St Petersburg and nip out again into Finland (if not brave enough ferry from Tallinn to Helsinki), round to Sweden, down to Denmark, on to Germany, turn right and home!  :y

thats basically what we did in august, exept we stayed out of Russia, (£100 and a few weeks wait for a visa, per person,)
we all said we would like to have spent more time in the baltics, and will go back,
Finland and Sweden ... er not so much,  lots of long straight roads with trees, 5000 miles 3 weeks and 11 countries,

couple of years back we did the wild west coast of eireland, definately a must do.

you can put a building notice in anytime, preferably before you start ;D

most people wait until the planning is sorted, then put a notice in the week before you start.

Im a BCO, beware of a builder who wants to use a private inspector, they dont visit the site often, leaving the builder to "get on with it"   ;)
the local council guy should have lots of local knowledge of the ground conditions etc,

I would go for a building notice, rather than a full plans, as long as the builder is happy to work with you, rather than always cut corners and costs, not that they will pass savings on anyway.

any questions feel free to ask, or I can give you my number for a chat.
