You are running alittle high on the temp mine sits at about 82 on a motorway and slow traffic it sits at about 92.

Dont worry about paper clipping it it will be fine you will not knack the ECU

first port of call would be to check the tire pressure even if the tire looks ok i would still get a PSI meter to check it or go to the garage and use the air pump meter to check.

If they are fine then I think your power steering Pump is on its way out or as you say you could just be alittle picky like i am with everything on your meega  :P

for one with a sun blind its 3 bolts need undoing and then there are 5 i thing plastic clips which need squeezing and pushed through their holes with long nose pliers.

You will need to remove the rear seatbelts at the top and the seat sides parts and acouple of other bits like the rear head rests and the plastic holders for them

Omega General Help / 3 Button Key Fob
« on: 09 August 2007, 16:39:21 »
My Key Fob is starting to look alittle grubby and the rubber is going in place's and the buttons are not working first time all of the time. So been thinking about getting a newer 3 button Key Fob.

My Question is can i just swap my key onto a new fob with out the need of a Tech2 I think I remember about putting the key in the Ign and turning it and leaving for a lenth of time.

Is That All I would Need To Do with Replacing just the Key Fob ?

Omega General Help / Re: Omega 2.0 16v Fault codes
« on: 08 August 2007, 15:52:12 »
check all four cables going into your lambda sensor i had to replace mine as all 4 cables were worn down to the metal from rubbing on part of the metal near the clip.

I have been told that sometimes one of the connecting points can be pushed back so not giving a correct connection causing a fault.

So just unplug your lambda and check all the cables and connectors are fine before buying a new one. Mine Set me back about £80 for a NGK 5volt one same as the ones you get from VX but they charge alot more

I never run on Petrol so i can only say about LPG

But over a 500 mile exact round trip to the NorthEast with sticking to the Speed Limits it cost around £36 To £38 I worked out it does about 7p to the mile on a long trip and about 10p a mile around town

If I boot it back to the NorthEast It drinks the LPG and its around £44 a return trip Only sounds like acouple of quid but that gets you miles on LPG :)
