Oxford meet next Saturday 12th March 1pm, Now looks like i will have to work that night so will have to leave at 4pm but that is still 3 hours of looking at other migs and having a chat with the like minded :) how many do we have on that day that can make it now :y

Going to pick up a deal on the way to work tonight. Had a look on Halfords web site today and they have a discount on a 235 piece Dynamic tool cheast (sku:158389-0) in store £99. book on line and pick up for £49.99 one hour later in store. Will have mine at the meet in the morning if anyone wants a look :y :y :y

All set now, Have checked with andyC and I have the correct parts. All going well will be doing the following.

1. Cam belt
2. Water pump
3. Cam cover gaskets
4. Breathers
5. Oil and filter
6. Plugs
7. System check with Tech2(please TB )

a long list but hope I will be able to finish it all otherwise it will be under the car on the drive on Monday. The misfire was back yesterday morning but not so bad, will be looking for that oil around plug No.2. See you all Saturday, looking forward to it. :y :y

Mine is not one of the last ones but he said he could not find a number fo 3.2's so may have used the one for 2.6. can you pm me the numbers and I will check with what I have. Thanks :y

Need to confirm a few part No. before Friday. I have just picked up the parts I need to do the cam cover's and the dealer has given me the below parts which I don't know if they are correct fot an 03 3.2 can anyone help.

1. Rocker gasket X2 GM55351456 are they correct.
2. Seal ring X4 V0012992647 what are they for

They don't seem to have given me the Inlet bridge to head gasket what is the correct number

All the rest I have as per the maintenance guide. I need to know as will have to pick up friday hope they have them.

Is Halfords the best place for carb cleaner as I will be going for more parts in the morning, how many is normal for a good clean? there web site said £4.99 a can or do they do a deal.

I have 20ltrs of both full and semi at the moment I will put both in just incase. I will bring my own food for the day and have ordered CURRY at night. Almost have all the parts as had a cock up end of last week with car pass but am on track now and due to pick up more parts Thursday with trade card, If I don't get all the jobs done this weekend will just have to do later but misfire issue last week and cam belt need doing as car is 8 years old in March so due cam belt. Misfire may have been down to low voltage? would like to check breathers and cam covers so will have the parts on me and if don't need can let go at cost if anyone needs them. How often do we do ATF? Have large set of tools which will be with me. May need advice on cam belt and use of locking kit please. Have a few other parts in garage will put them in. will need Tech2 check TB if you have time please but don't have correct car pass yet so don't know how much you can do without it, may be another visit to yours later or at next Oxford meet? :y

Thanks to Guffer I will now be there on Saturday. Paul the black estate will be coming and you can drive it if you like but don't think you are taking it home as I have only had her 3 days 8-) 8-) 8-) ::). as she will be 8 years old in March I will be doing a few jobs on her first then you can have a drive. Sorry that Daz is not now going
