Here's the High Peak video that Ronny mentioned. It's put me off buying an Audi!  ;D

Well the EU have jumped on the bandwagon and will apply tariffs 0f between 10 - 25% on certain goods imported from America.  ::)

As usual the corrupt media are doing their best to spread panic and doom and gloom as well.  ::)

The BBC's headline today is that US govt bonds are going up which will make govt borrowing more expensive, but they said very little about it as bonds were were going down over the last few days.  :-X

I'm casting about for a big estate and this thread prompted me to check out A6 Allroads, and I've seen quite a nice looking one nearish to me which seems to be at a reasonable price as well, so I might go and have a looky see.  :y

Don't know why, but Audi's have never really floated my boat though.  :-\   I think the sloping tailgate limits the load carrying space in the rear and I've always had a perception that they would be expensive to fix...

My mate had a Q7 which was nice, but he said it chewed up tyres like he'd never seen before. The A6 Allroad would have the same 4x4 Haldex system as the Q7 I think?  ???   :-\

At some point they'll stop panicking and some savvy investors will see buying opportunities and things will settle down as they start to see opportunities in Trumps new reality.

Putting my tin foil helmet on, it's also entirely possible that the mass sell off is orchestrated by the WEF/Bilderberger globalists to force Trump to change course.  :-X  I love a good conspiracy theory though!  ;D

Figures vary slightly, but it appears to be around $850 billion, less than I thought. Japan owns over $1 trillion, while the UK is not far behind China.
This is an interesting read, stick with it:

Yes I read that and the summary is:-

The nuclear option China could take..... but they won't because it would affect them just as badly.... Oh and America's response would kill them!    ;D

A nonsense article.  :-X

Ask TB nicely.  :)
Is he thinking of buying another omega? :-\

He might do.  He often complains he can't find anything as good.  :)

The EU has today offered the USA a zero tariff deal on industrial goods, and other countries including Taiwan, Israel, Vietnam have offered their own versions of a zero tariff deal to the US.

Meanwhile, Trumpy, in response to China slapping a reciprocal 34% tariff on US imports, has said if they don't withdraw their tariff, America will charge an extra 50% on Chinese imports from tomorrow!  Over to you Mr Xi!  ::)

Almost all aircraft tyres are remoulds/re-treads - and some of them are rated to a lot higher speeds than any Omega will ever go - aside from driving off a cliff.

I'll try not to think about that next time I'm sat in a 500 odd tonne Airbus A380 as the pilot puts it down on the runway with a hell of a thump!  :o   ::)   ;D

You might need to clarify if that figure was EU or Europe. As they are both very different things that the stupid and uneducated* can't seem to grasp

*like our lazy media.

It could also be an outright lie from leftist pro EU Sky News.  ::)

USA GDP is about 25% of world total and is clearly going to take a hit short term.

The EU is about 22%. The next twelve months will be defining. Buy Europe campaign? Spaniards a very loyal customers. We have friends who will never set foot in the Chinese “ pound shops” ( every town has at least one). There will be some tough defence spending decisions. Home produced rather than buy from US. There will be a lot of poring over paperwork going on behind the scenes.

Presumably China and other countries will look to sell their stuff to Europe if the Americans buy less.

It's a lot less than that. According to the EU themselves, EU GDP is 14.7% of global GDP.
