Thats nothing mate, my neighbour has a poxy cat that leaves its dirty paw prints all over my car, usually just after I've washed it! Wonder if he'd mind cutting its legs off, maybe I should ask.  ;D
Try a bit of paraffin around the cat!!

How do make a cat go woof?  ;D ;D ;D ;D

soak it in lighter fluid and set a match to it.....

I will be sending my 7 year old daughter round to sort you out. I get 'fined' 50p if I am nasty to the cat, under our 'naughty word rule'
 :D :D :D
£1.00 if I am nasty to mummy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Only time that would be a problem is when the 7 year old catches Daddy at it, so to speak......
When you get to a certain age, you get to be sneaky.....   :D

If only :D :D :D

I think I may be at that certain age :y

330 miles tonight to Daventry and back. Running on petrol all the way there and back.

Motorway speeds in excess of 80mph, not being too careful with the right foot, I got an average of 29.7mpg according to the MID.

Tank was about 3/4 when I left - when I pulled up after getting back, range was "2" miles  ::) .. the petrol light came on at Ross on Wye, Started flashing before I got to the Coldra, and running on fumes by Cardiff  ;D

(I wanted to empty the tank, as the stuff in there must have been getting stale)...
FFS, Chaventry?  ::) ;D

Good excuse to go for a blast in the Meega, and pick up my N95  ::)

Is there no post down there then!!!!! :D :D :D

I like that.

Want to share??

Certainly...

It uses Nixie tubes http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nixie_tubes. A totally obsolete display device from the days before LCDs, LEDs, etc. About the only thing I can remember them being used in is petrol pumps when I first started driving.

Mrs. KW saw one a couple of years ago and took a shine to it so I bought some tubes and they've been languishing in my junk box for a while. Anyway, you can get the tubes and kits to build clocks on ebay but I decided to roll my own circuitry to drive them.

Worst part was soldering up all the connecting wires. 10 individual segments in each tube to wire up, one for each digit 0-9 ::) Started to wish I'd just bought a kit with a printed circuit board. Because they are effectively little neon bulbs they need a supply of 185v dc so there's a little converter to knock up the 12 volts from a mains adaptor to power them and there's a microcontroller in there to keep the time and drive the displays.

Kevin

Yep, I understood all of that! not.
 :) :) :)

do you think the phrase :your breakin up: is used more or less now
than it was in the 80s

More now, they used to be handy, now thay can be a pain, from a work point of view, there is no escape. Got into trouble recently cos I had turned my phone off, I had not I was just out in the wilds, no signal and the boss knew where I was. There is no escape!!!!
 ;) ;) ;)

I remember in the 80s when i had my first company phone, it was the size of a breeze block with a big handset stuck on top of the battery, i think it was a motorola.

How things change

I used to have one like that, like carrying a car battery with the phone on top and a 3 foot aerial, had to make calls through an operator. Not that long ago either really. :) :) :)

This is an interesting one from my draw.... £2 coin to indicate the size of the phone (or lack of size!  ;D)

It's what you do with it that counts!!!! :D :D :D
