For me, touching on what DG mentioned, I cannot see how 27 countries all wanting different things could possibly work. This is one of the main reasons I voted leave. Square pegs, round holes etc.

Also to be in this less than perfect arrangement we probably pay a lot in. Forget the 350 million 'dangle berries' that was on the bus and I don’t know how much nor do I really care. But it’ll be a lot. But these are the reasons. I personally don’t believe we are a nobody country. But I do acknowledge we are not the empire we used to be.

As for London I like visiting. Soooo much history. And loads of cool things to see and do. ABSOLUTELY wouldn’t want to live there.

My own preferable pikey repair is to clamp vice grips to the shaft of the strut to stop it going back down  ;D

I’m pleased boris got in. But like Albs says he’s not a messiah. He better deliver this f.....g brexit or I will personally go down there and... well in reality if brexit doesn’t get done I’d protest by never voting again.

I thank corbynski for being an immovable object as leader. I wonder if labour had got a fresh face a year ago whether the stupid public would have voted differently. Though obviously this was brexit v remain and at least for now faith is restored in the British public.

It was also lovely to see Jo Swinson get handed an arse tanning. Just gutted it wasn’t me doing the tanning. Having said that she’s been wearing the same green dress for the whole campaign so one wonders if it’s like a tuna taco 🌮 downstairs 😩😩😩😩🤮🤮🤮🤮

I couldn’t agree more: give me an NA v6 omega over an ecowank Ford any day.

What I love most of all is that at 70 the engine is for all intents and purposes still asleep! 🤣 the ecowanks are the other end of that scale therefore I really couldn’t see you getting shed loads of miles out of one.

Having said that they’re probably ok if the majority of folk are HPing cars and swapping them every three years for something brand new 🤔

Wifey has a 18 plate i20 and she’s received impeccable after sales service from Spirit Hyundai in Northampton. I’d get an automatic i30 (which she had before) but I just love the fiesta.

Omega General Help / Re: Alarm going off
« on: 11 December 2019, 19:33:41 »
It isn't the dreaded powersounder problem. That problems is the internal batteries leak, cause a short circuit, and sets fire to the car.
Something is setting off your alarm. The usual culprit is the bracket which holds the bonnet alarm switch gradually bends downwards and allows the switch to open, setting off the alarm. Bend the bracket up a little and see if it cures the problem.
A faulty power sounder can activate the alarm. Been there, had that t-shirt ;D

Me too. I got my t-shirt at 3am. One minute asleep. Next minute removing power sounder 😦😦😦 preventative maintenance  ::)

Do we know anything about the reliability of the power shift box?
