The best quote we've had so far for the rear spoiler to be sent to New Zealand is £384.35 via UPS Express Saver and it will take 2 weeks!  I'd like some money for the spoiler itself as well, so I realise that will make it very expensive.  I will research Parcelforce and Interparcel now too.

Sorry mate, I completely missed this reply!!

That is quite expensive but not impossible, did you get a chance to see if parcel force and interparcel would be any cheaper?

No drama If not though!!

Weight 2 kgs,  dimensions if enclosed in bubblewrap and cardboard to protect it.  135cm x 25cm x 20cm.  We got our quote through Interparcel, and I'll sell you the spoiler for £100 + carriage costs.  We've had problems with sending stuff from work to Japan, and getting claims for loss or damage from Interparcel has been very difficult. Parcelforce might be cheaper, but we've had trouble with them also in the past.  If we put the value of the goods as £100 for example, that's what we'll get back in compensation, if we put £500, the cost goes up considerably.  This is why I'm reluctant to send this out, because we may both end up out of pocket.  The best solution is hand carry by a friend, and even then you'll get excess baggage for your oversized boomerang!!

Are you looking to sell to the highest bidder or to the chap who asked first? This isn't ebay :-X
Thanks for pointing that out, and I am still trying to get the best price in response to his part wanted request. Although I hadn't actually advertised it as for sale.
If it is too complicated or he doesn't want it at my best price, then I'll keep it. Actually ebay's global shipping programme might be the cheapest route to NZ.
I am well aware of (and have benefitted from) this forum's aims to keep as many Omegas on the road at the minimum cost to all involved. :)

I'm working on again it today, I'm pretty sure we used Interparcel to get that quote.  It does make it a very expensive spoiler.  That price was just the postage and I've been offered £100 for the spoiler itself over here.  And I've got to factor in if I want to keep it as a spare myself if they are that hard to come by.  If you know someone who is travelling back, then they could hand carry for less,  but obviously Covid-19 makes that difficult if NZ is still not letting anyone in.

I have got a Prodrive bootlid spoiler in green off the 3.2 Elite that I broke last month.  If you pm me an address I'll get a you postage quote, I think that might be the stumbling block for you.
It won't be cheap, as it might be needed for another green car... ;)

Have PMd you mate
