Can I count Opel as non vauxhall? In my murky past I can include ownership of a 2CV! thats only one of my 40 odd previous cars for the road. i dont count breakers or banger racers.

There used to be a member on ABS who had the ex royal Viceroy estate, a car that was not available from Vauxhall as a production car. They had it taken to a coach  builders as a Xarlton esyate, took the front panels off and replaced them with the Viceroy ones. It was finished in a special colour, Green, that was a royal household colour. Prehaps the Omega estate replaced it.
On the subject of the model cars, is the rolls hearse a copy of the one that was on Only Fools And Horses? if so, I workrd on that one years ago, welded up the main chassis rails and replaced the out riggers. It used to have a road tax classification of "restricted HGV" due to its weight

Yea, one less TT to have to swear at with the arrogant driver believing they own the road and everybody is phycic and should know where they are going. One hell of a wake up call though.

I think one reason we are lazy here about leanng other languages is because english is the main language of the world, much to the disgust of the french. One example of the cockney slang was wrong, richard the third is not bird, its turd! Its all gone chicken oriental---- mental!!

Made a cotact at PVS at Santa Pod of company called Neo Brothers. They are in Waltham Cross area. They are the only (at the time) dealers for a tyre that is linked to Yokohama. They race with them, drifters use them, because of the cheapness. A 225/55/16 was £51 plus fitting and VAT in June. I will try a set when I get my next set of wheels painted.

A super looking motor mate. Had an F plate manual myself a few years ago. Very enjoyable drive and still suprisingly quick with 375k on it. Sold it to get the ,mig. Also had a pair of 3.0 24V Diamond estates, the GSI estate as some people call them. We have several very nice examples over at ABS, most are in red though.

We both like QI. SHWBO loves NCIS and is now into numbers. Waiting for the new series of the SRU to start. Love red dwarf, and do a lot of motors tv.
