Had a bit of spare time today so removed the O/S doughnut bush bastard to get the old one out, about an hour of grunting and banging before it gave up and came out. New one went in in about 5 minutes, N/S tomorrow :y

Yep did the HGs on mine recently 25NM IIRC then Three times 90 degrees x18 bolts your back feels that I can tell you :y

At last got the 2.5 started today and it sounded like a diesel for the first 10-15 minutes until the cleaned and serviced valve followers fully pressurised, temp came up to 95 degrees and stayed there and the heater worked - nice and toasty. No oil or water leaks. What a joy to have her running after 7 month on the drive and a head service and rebuild.

Friends VW Golf miss firing like a pig and running rich, found fault breather pipe on rocker cover split in two. New one from flea bay £15 hate to think how much from FAG

I used Gold hammerite on mine some 12 years ago, still on there and no corrosion just wash down to get them looking new

SORN'd the miggy until I get a chance to finish fixing her and get her MOT'd never had to do that before. Damn I miss being behind the wheel :'(
