And the BRAS is automatic.  An ISP can set it back to (re)train, but sounds to me much more like a line fault if speed has dropped suddenly.

So you're getting great speed at the master socket, but not at the router?  What does that tell you?

Ummm.....my guess....fault with the cable between the master socket and router or router fault.... ::)

Or the router is duff.

And that is why I insure my 2003 3.2 Elite auto for £4,000.

It is helping me greatly at the moment, although I may have to fight a battle with the AA who did not feed my policy documents valuation down to Ageas. Some confusion there and an investigation going on.

Pleased you have someone to help now, would have been more than happy to call and see if I could help.  Unfortunately it's another five weeks before I'm passing Eastleigh, which is of no help at all.

Hope you get it sorted.

15 Months in Omega Ownership and not needed any help?  Jesus - You must be good!  :D :D

Seriously though - There are genuine, and VERY obvious reasons why selling a car on this forum is only available to the more active members (lets be fair, 250 posts is not a large amount).

Don't feel disheartened..... Stick it up on eBay, we see all those too!  :y

I'm curious to why 250 posts makes you a safe seller? and for those of us who prefer to read rather than post a comment on everything 250 posts is a lot.

Thanks

Very true.

Maybe a few thumbs up  :y on a few post or I could..............

Is it possible to make a direct claim on the offender's insurance without involving your own and thus protecting your no-claims/premiums?

Ron.

But they always ask if you have made a claim whether your fault or not, scamming bastards.  Protection racket on headed paper.

;D The last time I fitted a new one I was down the A361 Banbury and a bloody Pheasant flew out and clipped it putting a tiny bend in it  >:(

Internal aerials are never ever going to be as good as a nice external one

If you don`t want a cumbersome wing mounted one, then why not look at a roof mounted one - often easier to fit than you think

 ;)

It had crossed my mind, from feedback I think the internal is going to be out of the question and a new electric wing mount will be going back.
Will get a genuine one off a later model (whatever make) but it will have to be a quiet/quality one.

What car?

Granada.  If these internal aerials are iffy I will most likely replace with a new like-for-like, it will keep it all looking original I suppose.

That is what I have fitted now as a standard fitment but fitting new wings I was trying to get away from drilling the wing and finding a reliable alternative.

Not for the Omega but been looking for an aerial to replace the wing mounted pull-up type something that can be internal maybe boot mounted, similar to this ebay listing http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Universal-Electronic-Radio-Hidden-Antenna-AM-FM-Stereo-amplifer-For-Car-Vehicle-/172300872088?hash=item281deea998:g:ISQAAOSwYIxYBzo0

or are these a waste of time.
