Omega General Help / Re: XENON Drivers light
« on: 10 December 2015, 21:12:30 »
You have a broken adjuster.
There is a guide, but I believe you won't be able to but the parts mentioned.

I think I see that in the guide but I weren't sure if it was for normal lights  :-[

Mayo on filler cap is a sign of short journeys, or castrol oil. Change the oil n filter, use a decent oil (gm) and give it a good run. This is assuming, no sludge in header, if so then oil cooler time.

Cool thank you just checked coolant and it's just got antifreeze colour in its nice and pink, I'm hoping to get cam gaskets done this weekend or at some time then she will get an oil service and gearbox and air filter ect was just checking before I spend money on it really ;-) but thanks all for your comments makes me fill much better now  :y

It's usually because short(ish) trips specially in colder season. I had it on my mv6 turing fall/winter/spring when my worktrip was about 3 miles. All clear in summertime.

Sweet thank you, it's also in the oil flum bit as well but will take off at weekend and clean it, but at least that puts my mind at rest plus just spend 80 something on the cam cover gasket kit from vx am going to ring serek up tomoz to see when can squeeze her in  :y

Just st an update the omega is on its at to me know ;-)
In English: Just an update. The omega is on it's way to me now. Followed by a knowing wink which means the mode of transport may not be strictly legal.

Yeah sorry in English the omega is on its way (here now ;-)), I don't know how to turn auto correct off it drives me mad, the wink was just a wink, all the time I've been asking for a recovery truck service I ring my uncle to book an m.o.t for shogun and I asked him and he said yes I have one I was like I should of just rung you to start with lol, never mind cost me 40 pound for his fuel so a bonus really.

What happens when crank sensors packup  :-\ Do they just not want to start when engine gets warm or is it a complete breakdown job  :-\

That can run then cut out then just not start. Quite popular on the v6 I think. My 2.2 dti I lost my Rev guague then it just stalls then not start again, some one with more experience would put it right if I'm wrong  :y
