i had the 2.5 cdx and elite.i now have the 2.2 sport with induction kit fitted,and i would say it would keep up with a 2.5 any day :y

the reversing light switch is a plunger type switch,that is screwed into the rear of transmission above and to the left of the propeller shaft :y

the codes shown were 0747  0420 0700 and one i dont know 1781.it wasnt a tech 2 but similar a gunson fault code reader. :y

its an auto,and drives ok.but every couple of weeks it goes into limp,so i turn it off and restart it and its fine again.

had mate do the tech 2 on my facelift.the 1st code that came out was 0747...then he did the test again and 3 codes were registered saying 1781  0700  0747.any one know what these codes are,and how to fix them.most appreciated  :( :y

have you checked the codes under the techical information eg code 17 knock signal and 31 no rpm signal.where in brum are you..

i took car to a proper garage and they told me it was the autobox ecu,but now im concerned that they were just saying that,i think i will take it to another to get a second opinion. :y
