hello all! the coolant in my header tank drops about an inch every week so i keep having to top it up.  is this a problem do you think? also theres a bit mayo in the oil cap,  not always but sometimes! any help please!

well said mate ;D my opinion is exactly the same! i have had lots of great newer manual cars in the past but for me the v6 auto omega is the best car ive driven! even though shes pretty old! :y

the swich works but nothing really works when i select it if you know what i mean (the digi speedo says 39mph when im doing 100mph is an example) :y

hello all! the trip computer on my omega does not work and was wondering if there is any way to fix it! the problems are as follows

1, check coolant level is displayed  (coolant is full)
2, check headlight and tail light  (both fine too)
3, digital speedo does not work


any ideas please, cheers, gary!! ;)

P.S just been out for a fag and had a look! on my omega the o/s front and rear has large weights on the rims and the n/s front has a medium weight and the n/s rear has a small weight??? but on my ford galaxy the o/s front and rear has weights on and the n/s has none at all and it has no probs at all! the mind boggles :-/ :-?

hello all! when i get to about 90mph the steering wheel starts to shake quite a bit but only when i go to 90 or above! any ideas please? cheers!!

ok at last! i didnt know that oil ran through the rad to cool i thought coolant ran through the box (dont laugh) so the pipes did need to go on the rad after all so some tit has put the wrong rad on before!.  the oil was red after i let some flow out so ive connected it all up and the box seems better now when i drive. i will change the box oil at the weekend just to make sure. can anyone tell me how to change the oil and filter on the box? im very good with cars if im told how to do it. thanks for all your help folks :y

ive just removed the bypass pipe from the pipes that lead to the gearbox and theres a bit of oil coming out(light brown oil) should i connect these pipes to the rad even though theres a little oil coming out?
