ok,if you look at the wire for the oil pressure switch which runs between the block and the alternator,theres another wire which is beside it,i thought maybe oil level sensor but it seem s to be all intact

ok guys,when the crank pulley desided to come apart and shredded the belt,it took out the wire to the oil pressure switch,problem is,theres another wire along side it,it took it out as well,i need to know what it does,the only thing that i can see thats happening since this happened is the temp guage goes to 90 as soon as the ign turned on,any help is much appreciated

i had same problem on 99 elite,changed the switch with one i had spare,lasted a couple of months,so bought new one and still going to this day.

mates car did something weird,he started it up,he said it made a squeeling sound(like the alarm)so he tried turning it off,and yes,you guessed it,wouldnt go off,he was sitting with the keys in his hand car still running,i was thinking ignition switch,the plastic contacts bit on the back,but if anyone has any other ideas,it would be much appreciated

i used the adjusters out of the early headlights,theyre different but much better and they fitted properlyand adjusted at the mot station when it went for its mot
