Is that passenger side or drivers side kick panel?? What colour plug is it if you can remember and what make is the display.

Im seriously thinking of buying it instead of a tomtom as I dont like the idea of carrying one round with me  

its in the pasenger side
it will be a 6 pin plug if i remember right
the screen is phillips

pretty fun to fit if you aint got the plug behind the kick panel
ive fitted mine and had some trouble which turned out to be the unit itself
it works fine now and it really good

down to removing the last bolt ( top one )  

spanner on the front and about 5 combinations of universal / flexy / extention / step down - step up / ratchet on it.  lol

then it starts to rain

Sorry, really can't remember if the older IR locking cars do.  Somebody with an IR based car will need to confirm  

mine is the ir type and my indicators dont flash when locking the car and never have done

i have looked at the socket under the sterring wheel and its a 16 pin d shape socket

i fitted tm in my mig
i had the box off ebay and there was still some subcripton left on it
yes it is annoying and sometimes uesfull
i don't use it enough to pay out £30 a year so i will be taking it out

just tried johnty's sat nav in my mig all the way back from his to mine and it works first class

so just proves that it was the unit that was knackered
which the bloke i got it off is willing to replace

it probably won't, but you can't condem something until you have connected it up correctly

just hope it all works right
had the glove box and kick panel and side step out now for over a week because tmx said he was coming and ive not herd or sen anything of him now for a week

i think he has been taken by aliens or something

yes speed pulses
but at the moment it stuck as rev so it goes in -
i.e -28 -29 -30 as you increase speed if you know what i mean

OK, sounds about right then - fix the rev and we'll go from there

will do no probs
will be tomorrow when i do that wire
dark here now and weather is crap


how does that effect it not getting any satalites
