Over the moon, felt like jumping up and down like an excited 5 year-old in a sweet shop, but just about managed to contain myself  ;) ;D ;D

Clean them up and apply a generous coating of grease

For the very first time in 33 years of driving my car just went straight through the MOT,

2 advisories for slightly corroded rear metal brake pipes but nothing much to worry about :-)

She lives for another year  :D

Update:

All fitted and running as sweet as a nut, for someone who's not done these before it's not as easy as made out by those with experience, had to take the bagpipes and the SAI front pipe off and undo the Air/con bracket to gain access, once that lot was out of the way the belt went on in less than 2 mins and everything back in place in 20 mins, total time 2 hours, I reckon that now I know how to do it I could do it in about an hour.

 :) :)

Cheers for the help and advice from everyone  :) :y

I was stationary when mine went, had just got into the car and started her up, had to fill in a bit of paperwork, then realised the cabin was filling up with smoke, engine off, door open and out quicker than a scalded cat. Popped the bonnet, let the smoke clear a bit, then could see the damage, my response was OH MY GOSH!!! what-a-to-do (or words to that effect  ;) As the crow flies I live about 1/2 a mile from that point, 1 mile by road, so decided to take it home, didn't dare look at the temp gauge.

Use your TC card - AndyC will have to charge you delivery!

That's the plan for now.  :y

Thanks, Somehow I doubt she would even make the trip out of Cov, not only with no water circulation but these Omegas are bloody heavy with no power steering at all, I drove it 1 mile back home when it went and it felt like i was driving my Dads old Foden truck circa 1960s

But thanks for the thought though  :y

Sods Law?  ;)

I think I hate this guy called Sod  :(

Like Jonny2112 said give AndyC a PM, he supplied me with a belt and tensioner for about £60 delivered iirc

I've got a TC card, unless Andy C can get stuff cheaper  ;)

Can I get away with just replacing the pulley bearing part of the tensioner? is it sold separately?

Didn't I read somewhere that stuff had to be moved out of the way to fit new belt? don't have to remove the old one as it melted and disintegrated  :'(
