Sorry about my answer yesterday but I was in muppet mode.
If you need wires i.e. screened and or twisted pair (braded) let me know what lengths you want and I will have a look for as we keep some spare lengths for reworks

Not sure what you mean and I should as im EEDS eng at JLR. So give us a clue.
On Jag you have a telematics harness running between the dvd ,sat nav and stuff like that in the boot to the head unit in the front and that harness has all the infotainment connections in it :-[

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Re: Heated rear seats
« on: 30 August 2008, 18:10:49 »
You got me wondering as I have a CDX estate, so just lifted the rear bench and found £1.02  Happy days But to answer your question I couldnt find any rear seat heater pads or any connection points. So I guess that you would need a second hand bench from a car with rear seat heating

Hi, Might be a good idea to check alternator output and bulb security, loose bulbs dont last long. As for the oil problem let me know as I have to topup every couple of weeks and I have done the cam cover gaskets, breathers and the aint a spot on the drive ?

James,  consider putting your car on a rolling road to get an idea of the output figures at the wheels.
This may help you with your diagnostic !

Omega General Help / Re: heater matrix remove
« on: 30 January 2011, 20:04:21 »
So you have a leak.
Remove the board above the foot pedals and locate the 2 pipes for the matrix, then follow them to the point where the pipes enter the matrix......is it wet and sticky, if so it could be that the O rings need replacing and the matrix needs flushing.
Also do both pipes get warm ?

Couple of points
1) I got an OEM matrix for £60.00 and that included shipping & vat from my local factor.
2) You say yours has gone, but what do you mean by gone , is it leaking or blocked ? and dont forget the O rings they can fail which will cause coolant to get inside the cabin.

Omega General Help / Re: Windscreen washer nozzle removal P/fl
« on: 10 February 2011, 13:57:20 »
Update !
I found that the supply hose has a join by the PAS bottle which I seperated.
I then got my hose pipe and held it on the washer jet and got MrsB to turn on the tap, after a few seconds it started to flow back through the pipe I then did the other jet and had good flow.
I re joined the pipe and now have working screen washers on both sides.
The drivers side will need another blast to equal the other side flow rate.
So thank you all for the tips. :)

Thanks for the tips.
What my problem is is reduced flow to the drivers side jet and yes I have used a needle to try and clear it.
When I press the washer button I get a short squirt from the jet and then it dribbles across the bonnet although the near side works fine with good flow.
I think im going to have a go at reverse flushing before risking breaking the thing off :y

Omega General Help / Windscreen washer nozzle removal P/fl
« on: 08 February 2011, 10:47:53 »
Im trying to remove and clean the nozzle and have tryed to follow the Haynes instructions, but all I have managed to do is scratch the under side of the bonnet.
Haynes says disconnect the wiring and supply hose, depress the tabs at the rear of the body and remove upwards.
Well that dont work.
Anyone got a fool proof method of removal
Thanks Iain
