I'm now pondering whether I want it fixed . :(
You'll have to have it fixed, Don. General election in the offing, we'll need your famous rants balanced opinions sometime soon  ;D

Don's thoughts if Sinn Fein win the next election in the republican part of Emerald Ilse will be something to behold!  :o  :-X                                     ;D

You know Sir T, I really don't care much now as I have zero regard for politicians and parties as a whole, they are all of a lesser breed now . As long as my generous Irish pension ( my best investment ever ) drops into my account each week they can get on with it. :)

Thanks for the helpful replies.

I'll get on it tonight and try and fix it. I'm certain it's been the vpn that I have to use to view BBC iplayer et all.
TB, I'll do that and let you know. :y

You all seem very tame , are you all OK.

Mmmmmm........
Not sure what's going on here but when I attempt to log in on my desk PC I get a window telling me,
" Sorry Olympia5776, you are banned from using this forum !
this ban is not set to expire. "
It first occurred several weeks ago and I put it down to me using  VPN on the PC so I switched it off and all was OK.
It has happened again but switching it off has no effect now.
The mystery is that both my tablets ,laptop and phone have no problem logging in even though they have the VPN in use too.
Can Admin look into it please ?

The Dentist informing me that she wants £400 to fix one tooth. My teeth are breaked anyway, so I will probably just have it yanked out.
Still, at least its a lovely August Summers day !  :o ::) :D
I don't know what that was for Albs but if it was a crown then you're lucky .
1000 euro for  crown here and my dentist just rolls that figure off the tongue as if it's nothing.
I neglected my teeth for too many years due to the high costs over here and 12 months into treatment have spent a considerable sum righting the damage done.
I've left instructions that when I swan off they all have to be pulled and put on Ebay........

I don't think I've ever had a run of bad luck like this with cars .........

Sometimes the wet blanket of defeat wraps itself around you and says " just give up I've won."
Took Omega for it's NCT test ( MOT) two weeks ago , failed on high idle .
I couldn't understand it as it has done 280m since last test .
Anyway , went through it checking exhaust , replaced plugs /airfilter even though they were new , replaced maf with a new spare I had ,had changed oil and filter and then tipped a bottle of Catclean into the low level of fuel in tank.
€54 down drain for test and another €28 paid up front for the retest + the parts .
So confident was I that I taxed the car for three months (€200 ) and then booked the retest for today .
Took it out last night to run it at high revs to get the Catclean to work .
All went well with it driving beautifully until one mile from home when it stuttered nearly cutting out  and the eml came on .
Put the spare gallon of fuel into tank to reduce the concentration of mix in there and she started ,albeit with eml on , and drove home .
Tested it and codes for cam sensor ,crank sensor and ignition coil primary/secondary circuit ''''ed ..
Cleared codes but cam sensor came back on and would not clear. Crank sensor was renewed less than 150 miles ago.( bitch of a job on the x20xev )
Spent the morning chasing a cam sensor with zero luck , all the suppliers ( many )  had it NLA  even the MD had it NLA although they wanted €244 for it if they had one .......
Lost my NCT slot and forfeited the charge .
So there we are,not a cam sensor available in IE, dead car in garage  fully taxed and insured  . I had to reduce myself to buying one from Amazon with the wait for it to arrive .
Spending too much money on it now for the minsicule miles I am doing in it so it looks like the end of the road with me is nigh after 22 years .

It appears that the countries biggest commercial TV company has been covering up all kinds of nasty things, and trying to make them go away by pressurising people to sign NDA,s - so there is a good argument for some kind of enquiry to determine just how corrupt the top management of the company have been.
Politicians are probably the wrong people to be doing it though. A retired Q.C. or similar might be better.
The woman at the top almost run the Guardian into the ground (pity she didnt succeed), then almost bankrupt Sleasyjet (pity she didnt succeed), so it begs the question - why did the board of ITV think it was a good idea to offer her the job ?  ::)
She is a high priestess of woke, so maybe they thought this is the way the world is going, so she is a fit and proper candidate ?
God only knows.  ???
Have a look at Emmerdale, it's ITV in a nutshell. A small Yorkshire village where almost every resident is black, Asian, queer or has mental health problems.

Did they rebuild The Woolpack after the plane hit it ...Amos is a great Barman ,I love the way he keeps Seth in his place too .

Not just Biden.

Xi

Putin

North Korea

I would put Biden in fourth place.

Disagree entirely.

This war is the result of deliberate provocation by the US and Nato. Don't believe that? Well maybe Ray McGovern (ex-CIA analyst) will convince you...if you have an open mind, that is.

Oh do f\/ck off .
You really are pushing mercury uphill bleating your " poor ruzzia " on here .
You'll notice I haven't bothered to reply/ridicule this time, Don. I've come to the conclusion I'm wasting my time. It's more pity I feel nowadays.

You're right Steve ,I shouldn't have replied best to starve him of the attention he seeks .
He's a troll or a fool ,I suspect both  , in future I'll treat him with the contempt his beliefs deserve .

Anyway , how you getting on with the new wee dug...... :)

Will you be watching tonight?
As a straight male, I didn't think I was allowed to.

Not that I want to.

Since Dana won it in 1743 it's become a festival for gay/queer/trans celebration. :)

You know ,   I watched the BBC report on it earlier today and immediately came to that conclusion.
They featured three " acts " ,as I couldn't call them singers , and thought how fortunate I was to have grown up in the 70's and listened to some superb music .
That tiny , tiny minority have ruined mainstream TV.
I'll be giving it a pass .....again .
