Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Re: Map light bulb question
« on: 12 February 2017, 09:46:07 »
I'm trying to get mine out too! I have been pulling on the bulbs form the front but they seem very resistant
& I'm nervous I'll squeeze too hard & break one in situ.
Will let you know when I'm successful.
Perhaps you can do the same...

Omega General Help / Map reading lights...
« on: 11 February 2017, 10:59:34 »
The map reading lights I have are pretty pathetic & I want to put in more powerful / better bulbs.
Can someone point me in the right direction what to go for. Are LED ones any good?

Thanks for that!
I have now taken the heads off two of the screws with a mini hacksaw.
Looking forward to the 2 under the car!
I will nip out am tomorrow & get some new drill bits & continue.
I must be getting too old for all this nonsense![Embarrassed :-[](http://images.omegaowners.com/forum/smf2000/Smileys/oofstd/embarrassed.gif)

Omega General Help / Estate rear bumper screws inside the wheel arch I can't get off!
« on: 10 February 2017, 14:25:07 »
Hi all,
I'm replacing my damaged rear bumper with a good donor one & I thought it would be quick & easy!
As usual, not so straightforward - I'm struggling to get the torx screws out in the wheel arches. I've been trying for a couple of hours now - have done the usual wd40 thing, then used an impact driver but still no joy.
Anybody have any other ideas I don't have the brains for?

Car Parts, bits For Sale & Wanted / WANTED: Aerial adaptor estate with spoiler
« on: 09 February 2017, 10:30:28 »
I have seen the previous posts about the aerial hitting the rear spoiler when the hatch is open & mine is no exception.
The aerial is now so broken that the radio signal is non existent!
Does anyone have the adaptor to put this right?
Thanks
JDZ

Car Parts, bits For Sale & Wanted / Re: wanted: nearside rear light lense for '02 estate
« on: 29 December 2014, 11:32:25 »Actually...the guy in Nottingham is far from being a greedy ebayer,he is a genuine honest guy,,,granted there are not a lot of them on there but he does not deserve to be put onto that list especially that you do not know him .....Thanks for your reply.
My comment was a generalisation, no personal offence was intended.
