The window was originally "glued" in place but also heat sealed as well.Apparently independent specialists all say the same thing which is "Put a new roof on it" with figures ranging from just shy of £1,000 to £1,200 as in parts it's a two person job and once fitted needs calibrating to the car and at present it's not an affordable option.As said she could finish it off on the inside with the same stuff she's already used but is worried it may get rather messy and would prefer to use double sided tape if at all possible.
As my partner passed away seven years ago and she was disabled for a good many years before that then my getting a bit of the other[kinky or otherwise]is but a dim and distant memory :'( :'( :'(
