Ive suffered from a young spotty VX parts lad who didn't know what a plenum is too.
Then I found out an old mate works in the parts at the same dealer so thats me on guaranteed trade from now on.
Kirkby Central/Wilsons? You're (slightly) better off in Vantage Bury.

If you decide to get a garage to fit new discs make sure the y use GM ones some pattern discs can (as some people on here will tell you) warp within a few thousand miles. However as L.B stated to fit them yourself is a piece of cake.
I went along the cheap brake discs route a few years back with my Senator. Within 3/4000 they were running out of true again. According to Brakes International I'd fitted them incorrectly and were no longer interested. A set from Vauxhall sorted it all out though.

ATS was cheaper than both blackcircle & mytyres for 4 Michelins especially as you then have to get them fitted after you've bought them on-line.
Mytyres will tell you the address of a fitter if you put in you post code and it only costs between £7.50 and £10 a tyre :y
Mytyres come and fit them, Black Circles send tyre to a local centre who fit them. This is inc in price (unless you pick tyre only option)
The fully fitted price from ATS was £440 (ouch!!) which was virtually the same price quoted by the online sites for tyres only.

I have the XDA IIs, you cant get it no more tho on contract...

Only issues I have with it, is the way the speaker driver dies, so needing a reboot, same with the bluetooth driver AND the memory leak issues...

O2 Mini runs WM2005 doesnt it??  I did flash my IIs to 2k5 at one point, but as its not designed for it, it ran a little slow!  Although the interface was pwitty!

Watch out too, duno if the problem is still the same, but if you use an SD card in the IIs, the battery drain is immense!

Oh, and DONT let it install the O2 UI Interface, I think the code is 0506 for doing the initial corporate setup, but check on http://www.xda-developers.com to confirm!
:-?  :-? Is there an English translation for this answer please?  ;)
I just make phone calls with my phone.  ::) Mines a Nokia ????

Buy a silver one Andy, they look great forever. ;)
I'm not a great fan of silver cars, although I've a had a silver/grey (can't remember the name) Senator & a silver Manta years ago, the roads are full of silver cars.

A while ago someome posted up a picture of a chavved up LS400. I said that I aspired to one if I could find a decent one I could afford.
But......now I've seen this I think it looks really dated compared to my omega :(. Disappointed.

http://www.specialistcars.net/newspecialistcars/carpages/21.htm

Paint looks a damn site better than on an Omega of a similar age, but at probably 10 times the price of a similar aged Omega I suppose it should be.

I managed to pick up "V6 DOA" recently off the DVLA web site ... funny if you know what DOA means and have a sick sense of humour !!!
...
Suitable for a V6 Omega hearse!  ::)

How about taking the donor car on a trailer to be checked? My wife used to work for the road tax office in Pompey & that's how cars periodically turned up there for inspection.
DVLA/Swansea don't want to make things too easy for the motoring masses.  ;)
