the two fans are coming on but a bit on the high side for me. how do you check the rad? ive drained and refilled the system let it heat up while squeesing the hoses but no joy could i have broke something fitting the bbv? the hoses are in the right places.i can see the water returning from the rad but not sure if there is is the right amount think ill go to halfords and get some more rad cleaner in saying that the water dond seem to bad.....thanks for the reply

hi guys me again i did my hbv last night but still overheating and air block (no hot air) away to flush again .if this dosent work i get a thermoststat im saposed to be pulling the caravan tomorow ive told the wife if the car is still overheating i aint pulling anything vauxhall dont have any in stock could i get another one from some place :question and are they easy to fit im a novice the symtoms are
warmes up as normal
then gets hot when driving around 30
ok on motorway well better
sometimes drops slightley when you blip the throtle
a little discoloration in the header tank and flecks of white stuff
any advice welcome sooner the better divorce is costley :(

when i did mine on the saloon it said to remove the bumper but you dont have to do this if you get a hand ,,for the bolts that go through the back end of the car just use a nail punch to dimple it out the other way and drill through from the boot out

well you can hear the revs increase when you switch the eco button off so it is comming on but it aint getting any colder. i could not get my hand in to feel the compressor is getting warm as i let the pipes get to hot....arghhhh :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/

no they never checked for leaks i will check the condenser to see if it heats up but you cant hear it kicking in.just wondered if it could be something simple like a fuse or relay as i dont think its worth spending a lot of cash on as it aint that hot up here....

hi again i fitted my towbar today no probs but still have to wire it up just a single socket i have been told not to wire it up to the lights but get some power relay :o what is this thing, do i need to fit one 3.0 elite and i got my aircon regased today but never made a differa nce any ideas :question cheers

ok i was driving home today with the cruise control on when i broke i heard a klick so i did it a few more times with the rame result.It sounds like a relay it was raining very heavy but there was no klick if i switched it off with the button :question could this be dangrous

oh i paid 780 for it with a years mot i think its well worth it....but it makes a slight noise on start up kind of a squeek in time with engine but it only lasts for a couple of minutes then goes...the car runs great with evreything working apart from drivers heated seat.

no amp its a phillips with cd in boot. i have a sub and amp that i can fit to a mp3 but i wanted it to look orignal. mp3 is silver and i wanted to keep it black

new omega owner hi i pave just got myself a r reg elite 3.0 of ebay full service history 59k on the clock anyway big bargin. old senny driver...so now i got the car but sadly it has no bose or hid lights which i wanted is it worth getting these fitted. or should i leave it . i intend to keep this car a long time so help me choose guys
