Omega General Help / Re: New to this Omega lark...

Yeah it's got other ideas though, I believe the rocker cover has now started leaking as there is oil dribbling onto the radiator metal pipe that runs past the right bank towards the firewall and also noticed today one of the 4 pipes just behind the eco tec cover is perishing and coming apart where it pushes on and also found an unused plug by the NS suspension top  8)

Hi
I Have not seen the icon go green of late and yes the head unit has been out recently [have I done a wally and missed a connection] I replaced the climate control panel
I don't think I missed any connection at the rear of the head unit
Tanker

May well have done or the cable's a bit iffy and needs a wiggle, try plugging in/unplugging and plugging back in

Sounds to me like its not getting the correct signal, or strength of signal.
I'm no expert on the Omega SatNav setup, but I would say its the GPS arial, or something between that and the unit, that's at fault.
Good luck!

This, it's lost track of your location

May well have been flown for pest control :-\

Wouldn't you rather it be done this way than use poisons or shoot them?

Best thing for them, like any electric motor/mechanical systemis to use them semi-regularly. Mine's still alive and give it a poke once in a while. Mind, I do like it, most people think it's a silly pointless ltoy, but I like it.  :)
Like my wife.

Funny as  ;D

Seconded, as luck would have it I've just bought some brand new rear calipers from the Amazon clearout thread, hadn't thought about painting them...

If it's more of a water noise could be the matrix, my old 106 did that but never caused any problems, air leak on an inlet pipe?

Spent near on £60 on stuff I don't yet need, ironically the rocker cover gasket I do need would take 2 weeks so cancelled that!

Is £11.53 good for a brake master cylinder? There's no reduced from price on that one

The red one looks right, sadly the white one is riding high, it is exaggerated by the bigger wheels...
