Having said that, not 100% sure we'll both be able to make it ::) We have people staying with us so it may be tricky... We won't know until nearer the time ;)

I'm sure I'll be able to pop in though :y

As per title, looking at same venue (The Crown - Ardleigh Interchange) 8). Easter weekend either Saturday or Sunday.  Any preference to which day - please make it known.  As usual all parties welcome. :y

Best regards

JCB

You pick the day... Normally when you pick a date we get good weather :y :y

Have you popped in to make sure they don't mind?

Obviously we will try to be there, although I might be in the van ::)

Not asked yet - hopefully wont be a problem :-\

Perhaps if you are in the vicinity you could pop in and ask for me ::)

Hi All!!

Just to let you all know, I have a working mig again!!  ;D ;D ;D

Just want to give a huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped, especially to RobG & Twiglet  :y :y top guys who supplied the necessary parts.

I removed the coil pack this morning on 2-4-6 and discovered spark plug wells were brimmed with oil & water. It looks like its been like that for some time as the the rubbers were shot - part had even dropped off the rear rubber in to the back well and took a while to get out. Having cleaned them all out and checked the plugs, it all went back together with the new coil pack and bingo!! Working mig!

Can I also say that Markjay's how to on plug removal was spot on too!

There is one small problem that's developed  :-\ I have to crank it for a while before it starts. I'm wondering if I've disturbed a fuel pipe or something as it sounds like its turning over dry? I'm wondering if its because I took a couple of the plenum bolts out to screw into the coil pack for removal. Could this have done it?

Many thanks to everyone again!   :y

Have you sorted this proble as well, otherwise you are going to donald the new part.

SOOOOOOO sorry I had to leave early today everyone. Was up for a great couple of hours of conversation and really wanted them Apple fritter things....next time I guess.

Hey !   Got to the airfield with materials for my fitter to complete and my client said...."have you got 30 mins"....ermmmmmm yes said I.  "Ok" he said, "go grab a headset from the office and take a seat"...  15 mins later I was flying over Felixstowe Docks and my house. Texted the wife and she went out and waved....NOT that I could tell from 1500ft.

I'm still shaking, 2 hours on !

Thats a great bonus Duggs.  Apple fritters were quite nice, but a trip up in the air sounds better to me. :y

It was good to see you again, and perhaps next time you can stay for desert ;D

And thanks to everyone who turned up and made it a great afternoon.  There maybe even some photo's  :o
