Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Re: After market alarm
« on: 05 April 2010, 20:59:18 »
My advice is,

leave nothing visible in your car, get a steering lock, get
any aftermarket alarm with flashing LED and get stickers saying Alarm fitted and Tracker fitted.

Most joyriders and criminals should be put off by this and go for a much easier target.

Sorry to be blunt, but having spent the last 14 years dealing with these naughty people ... the easiest target is always the one they will go for,,,, of course unless they are a major criminal nicking cars to order!!  Then nothing will stop that !!

Just my own thoughts !

Hi,

mine is a 03 plate 3.2 saloon

Just to make you aware my covers on the computer showed the newer type, however when Daz , Darth Loo Knee changed them they were the older style ones...

Might be worth , if you can , take them off before ordering them.

If you ask Daz Im sure he will know the part numbers .

Yes some great advice on this forum ,

I travel to Darths ( Daz) which is 200miles, 4 hours ,

It is worth every mile, hour and pound.

he really is a top guy and will sort your car out .

My car is an ex ARV, some members of the old firearms team have driven it since leaving service and work done by Daz.

We all agree it has never progressed ( shifted ) so fast !!

Top job Daz..  Suffolk Constabulary may be head hunting you !!

Tonight parking up noticed my brake lights not working when pressing the brake pedal....

Ok I pull the brake pedal towards me.. and now they work..

I guess the switch is on its way out....

Are they easy to replace?

On my 2003 3.2 special omega

Thanks
