His best option at this point might be to resign, citing whatever reasons he wants. That way he can escape the Capitol problem and avoid the inauguration. With less than two weeks to go, what difference would it make.

I have family abroad and normally use Amazon to send gifts, however any non-UK delivery addresses were not available for Christmas. Don't know why.
The workaround I eventually found was to log into the Amazon site in the destination country (existing account should work) so long as you can grasp the language enough.

- don't see impeachment happening, although the GOP might want to think about removing Trump as a purgative
- excusing the wrongdoings of others via police failure tastes bad. Most of the protestors were grown adults who should have known better. There is such as thing as personal responsibility.

This shouldn't be what anyone wanted to happen, but I'm (cautiously) hopeful it may cause most republicans to come to their senses and realise the damage Trump is doing. Which probably includes losing them control of the senate.
