easy as pi$$ to do, might have still got a 3.0 manifold gasket (the thick plastic bit that everybody calls the intake divider/lower intake manifold) lol

Cheers bud. Have got a complete 3.0 engine to use bits off!  :y

Lol, no adjustment possible on the clutch....as its hydraulic!

Anyway, depends hwo hot its got.

On Omegas, the slave cylinders dont go and the DMF's are very reliable, the only question will be, has the clutch got so hot that its damaged the DMF.

lots of slipping but once cooled down seemed to be fine. its just tight when putting it into gear now but drives fine.

my '97 2.5 v6 needs a new clutch after getting extremely hot whilst towing up steep hills and getting lots of slipping. It doesn't slip now but is difficult to get into gear. Whats the liklihood the dmf will need replacing and the slave cylinder? all the parts seem very expensive wherever I've looked...  :-/

Yup, the DIESEL is the same fuel, but has a red dye added. There is also a chemical marker that can be detected by Customs & exercise, who can seize your car. :-[

Thats the only thing that would worry me... how to explain and prove it wasn't you using red diesel in it?  :-/

You can buy, what is commonly refered to here as a Cheapo Tech II for £25/£30 from eBay and use via a serial ported laptop. Will read codes (in Hungarian) and reset airbag lights!  :y

must type faster ...... again!!  ;D
