Iv got Green Flag cover through my car insurance (Zurich), not uesd it for years till i got my Omega, used it twice in the last 3 weeks to get me home, very helpful and friendly, treated my car with respect ( recovery truck arrived, because of the irmsher body kit could not get it in the truck so sent for another one to save damage on my car ) personaly i cant fault them, did tell the recovery guy that if he caused any damage to my car i would have his boll***s for earings !!! maybe that had something to do with it

Always name my cars, think it gives them a personality, i have had over 20 cars over the years so too many to list here, but a few of my faviourets are :-

Cilla, she was a black toyota celica (Cilla Black )

Rosie, my 1st car, a MGB Roadster in red ( roses are red !)

Victor, my 2.4 granada (He was a grumpy tempremental old man, like Victor Meldrew )

Now i have Lady Olivia, my MV6 Estate(with a few special bits !) was going to just call her Olivia but she is a posh bird so the lady got added 


My hubby (v6 fletch) calls his 2.5 omega BOB , cos he is a big old bas***d lol.

dont think all cars are female, till you drive them you dont know

Can't stand the bloke myself....!!!! No, he's still helping me & the Beastie (as are other folk on here).
    I HATE selling cars to friends. After running impecably for ages they suddenly start messing about. I really hope the tyres, alternater & bad earth faults leave her as reliable as she was.

Not blaming you at all Guy, shes a great car, love it, the things that have gone wrong could have happened to anyone at any time, nothing major just daft little bits,she is 10 years old so it is to be expected. At least i have you, Steve, and Mark as a bit of back up (thank god ) lol

Well Lady Olivia has been off the road for almost 2 weeks due to an earth fault ( think thats what it was ) I live in the middle of nowhere so have been trapped in my prison of a home, today she is up and running again thanks to Marky Mark, i know some of you have an issue with him but i personally cant knock the guy, if not for him god knows how long it would have taken to find the problem.Since buying the car from Guy iv had a few small teething problems with her but hopefully i can now enjoy some happy motoring in my lovely Omega (fingers crossed)

Nothing derogatory

was only joking pete, i know what it is that made him blush, it happened when he was sat in my kitchen this afternoon, and it made my son jack laugh, it was something my hubby (v6fletch) did to and he wasnt even at home at the time !

You wont know what the fuss is ! u had a 1.6 !!! the capri was good in its time but handling was bad, i would have that brooklands if i had the money, not many left now, They will soon be a true classic.

My dad bought me a 2.8i capri for my 21st birthday,i hated it at 1st as i had to drive around with bags of sand in the boot so it would hold the road.Then decided to spend a bit of money on it so i had racing springs and shockers put on it (lowered ) full RGA bodykit , pepperpot alloys and new tyers, she looked great and handled like she was on rails (without the sand in the boot ) Ace car, would love another one but would have to be a Brooklands or Tickford, Dont want much do i
