Do i need to change the type of oil i use in my miggy? Mine is upto 153k now and a few so called experts have said i should use a slightly thicker oil in an engine with this sort of mileage. I've used VX 10/40 semi for years. Changed it every 5k without fail. Its cheap enough on TC (buy 3 get one free). Just over £40 with 3 oil filters. Is there any truth in this? Should i change to 15/30 or something a bit thicker?
What type of glue/tape do you use to fix on a rear/boot spoiler? , gonna paint it soon and need to get ready to stick it on. Its a Prodrive flush fit type. Need it very secure because i tend to press down on that part of the boot lid to close it
Very easy mate.... just cut the wire (after the connection plug) then tape the two wires together. Kills the warning on the dash. Remember to check the pads every six months or so
Had similar trouble with mine, but unlocking as well as locking. Fitted a replacement motor in the drivers door (got it off Elite Pete) and all sorted now
If i need to see an area of the engine bay but its awkward to actually get at, i use mobile phone with camera and a torch. Take a snap then look at the picture. Just an idea Could be something stuck down there
Me to, only passenger door though. Think its something to do with how they(you know who) shut doors. My better half either slams it so hard the speaker nearly pops out or is so gentle it doesnt even catch. Guess it depends on how annoying ive been that day
the springs control the ride height of your saloon so if it sits to low at the back (before you tow anything) then they are either completely foobared or lowered for some reason. Fit a new pair of standard saloon rear springs(KYB are good quality. think i paid around £65 for the pair so not to bad.
