Bloody cars  ::) I go out this morning and the TC and ABS lights are on solid and no speedo and car with a spanner(is that EML?) I  get home dig out lappy connect up to Omega turn on and no TC ABS lights, I found the ABS and TC tests under the chassis section but it didnt throw up any faults, I found some tests where I think you can test each wheel speed, is it worth getting a mate to hold lappy and go for a drive and test these or not, or do I just need to test it when I have the ABS and TC lights lit up.

Thinking about it I may have made a schoolboy error by clearing the stored fault codes from when the lights where on earlier before I went into the Chassis section, when ABS TC come on next time I will not clear them before going into chassis section and having a look in there.

Great thread, I was just wondering about the bloke who buys your house in 60 years time and decides to clear the back garden to grow some carrotts, man will he be cursing you for "over engineering"  ;D

I haven't had the ABS and TC lights come on together for about a week, today I plugged an OBDII code reader that connects to a laptop into my mig and I saved this out to file

I cleared the codes and ran the test again and it came up with no fault codes, is it still looking like a dodgy ABS ECU ?

An hour after getting my heating working I went out and noticed both TC and ABS and car with a spanner thru it lights were on and speedo wasnt working, so looks like my ECU was on the way out, the car starts and drives ok and everything else works ok, what are my options chaps considering I am broke.

My scuttle was leaking like a waterfall, as Tunnie said sillicone the joint, I also sealed the joint from  underneath with a couple of strips of Denso tape and it leaks no more :)
