Sounds like it had a bout of Valetors syndrome.  ie water in the electrics,the only problem is there is a chance of corrosion on the terminals,but that wont show straight away.

Hi ya, I bet as its your spare they didnt clean the bead.
What I sugest is you get an idependent tyre company to strip the tyre off and wire brush the bead or seat of the rim. To loose 10psi says you have several leak points :(

X type 3 Litre 4 wheel drive, very nice. But not ecconomical.
Yep I worked on these as well in the early days (only the seats)

Cant say much except let volvo sort it out.Cleaning sensors etc wont change anything. I would do service / cam belt change at the same time or before there fix. sorry cant help more, I just hope you dont waste your time and effort

AH. There are some guys in Coventry who break / restore all types of Jag's but I cant remember there company name. I will make a few calls next week.
 1) thing I can remember about them is the rear shocks were rubbish (Girling gas type) bounced all over the road.
Oh yer 8 MPG is normal  :D

You have discribed my car,nsf tyre outside edge osf inside edge and all over the place on uneven surfaces.
On Friday had wishbones changed (bushes shot) also offside track rod also shot
 I have just had it tracked and it was 10 degrees  tow in ????
Now its a dream and no rattles :y

I bet your virtual memory is running out because of all the programs you have added, so shut them down and delete the short cut's from the desk top.and then try to defrag the machine. vista is so very memory hungry you could add extra RAM
