Even professional install say £2k, on £4k Merc, means you get a £60k car which is quite cheap to run :)

......... and £2k is 200 tanks of fuel. That's a lot of miles in a ''boy's toy'' before you even begin to pay back the cost of the install.  ;)  ;)

200 Tanks i wish i could buy it from the same place as you lol

« on: 03 May 2013, 08:11:46 »
Morning all sorry to be a pain with this car but i seem to have a problem and thought its best to ask on here. On my trip into work about 3-4 miles into the journey the car jerks throws up the eml then runs fine with the light on although i cannot go over 4500rpm ive been looking around and found this

http://www.vauxhallownersnetwork.co.uk/index.php?threads/engine-management-ecu-problem-ridiculous-price-from-vauxhall-to-replace.238831/

I hope its ok to post this link from another forum if not please remove it.

I have done a paperclip test and the only code to comeback 0335 (crank sensor) but apparently you will always get that if the car if off. The post above points to cam sensor do you agree?
