Cars for Sale & wanted / Re: Looking very soon - Cheap Auto

Although it looks like a nice drive.

Multimap measures the carbon footprint in "a small car" for this journey as 126kg. I guess the meggy would give out slightly more!

I am looking to sell mine - 2.5 auto '98 S plate, 94k.

New oil pump, DIS & HT leads, cambelt kit & valves (after previous one went) - runs superbly. MOT to Dec 2009. (passed last one with flying colours)

Downside is body work - usual rust spots on rear arches/ door and couple of scrapes from the car park.

If you are keen, post back and I will put up some pictures.  :y

Its a 98 2.5 V6CD. eng man light on, coolant leak ( topping up weekly) and exhaust blowing. All fixable but not worth it for me.

Will put it on here if I am geting rid.

My Miggy is on it's last legs, was going to get another but have been looking at the price of vectras on 01 02 plates and they are a steal, with much lower running costs!!

Reviews suggest they are good 2nd hand motors... any thoughts? :-?

"Personal fave is to let a real eggy one rip in the ladies hygiene aisle where it always smells nice then exit stage left pronto, i still enjoy that now."

I wish I had that level of control. I normally tend to do this in HMV for some reason??

Hmmm..

I currently have a S plate 2.5 V6 auto - cambelt, DIS pack, valves etc.. all done 1 year ago. Runs really well but has usual rust spots and a few scrapes/dings.

I'm thinking of getting a newer meggy - 02/03 plate.

My question is - is it worth my while? How much should I be paying for an 02/03 and how mch would I get for my car? :-?

Any answers readily accepted...
