not sure on this did once see a carlton gsi with custom inlet manifold and triple carbs with injectors in them and stand alone ecu to run it all

sounds strange, when it is idling drop a volt meter across the battery terminals and check the voltage, also check the earths and so on for a start so to speak

i kinda recall some time ago that maystar use to do a signal booster for radios to get better receptions from the aerial not sure if these are still available or if they will work on the omega

could it be one pipe is more central to the back box and the other pipe takes longer for the gasses to come through, notice mine on cold mornings that one smokes/condensations more than the other so could be with to do how the back box is made

cheers tunnie i will do, just gotta find the time and cash (misses scenic the cat packed up and was not covered on warranty as its a wear and tear part so aruing with them and trying to get a contribution towards new one and labour charges)

You can't, but its very unlikey its been done. If you have that 'surge' around 50mph, then its not been done. Its the down shifts which become super smooth after the update
pass tunnie about the surge, normally if i am giving it heavy right foot it is in sports mode and the pedal pushed down to the headlights  :o so not really noticed it
