 ;D
as previously posted,my climate control works fine on the drivers side, but pumps out freezing cold air to the passenger side on cc and econ mods  >:(

is there a hot/cold distribution flap/motor in there somewhere ?
just been reading my haynes comic and couldnt see one mentioned,

or could it be the temp sensor on the passenger side given up the ghost and giving a false reading ?

sorry to repeat my self, but fancied a few more ideas before ripping out half my dash, ive just replaced all the bulbs in the ecc control panel, hand my knuckles havnt recovered yet.

Omega General Help / Re: auto box fault

This sounds similar to the issues that I'm having, although mine does it after the box gets hot, i.e. sitting in traffic or driving it hard.

I've had the fluid and filter changed but it didn't make any difference. Also, a specialist couldn't find any fault codes stored in the ECU.

It's been suggested that it could be the valve block in the gearbox, but this sounds expensive so I've just learned to put up with it. I knew I should've bought a manual.[/quote]

wanted a manual, but , apart from ex police million milers. couldnt find a nice one for the money i had :)

got another niggeling little fault for you all  :)

under heavy acceleration in normal or sports mode my box kicks down, then locks in gear, auto box ewarning on mid, check light illuminated.

pull over , stop engine, restart will be ok again.

dont happen all the time. and fine under more sedate driving.

the climate control on my mv6 on the passenger side is stuck on ice cold, which im sure she wouldnt comlain about if this was the middle of summer.
tried the reset press auto and off for 5 or more econds, but it still throws out ice cold air.
its like this on all the settings ,ie demist, auto, footwell, vents,

any suggestions, never had climate control on a vauxhall before, would be nice if it worked lol :'(

the front end of a transit are rearly piss weak, i was run over when i was 9 by a mk2 transit.
fractured my skull ,broke my coller bone. ripped a few ligamnents of my left eye,(having eyes that look in difrent directions is rearly disoriantating)

i pushed the radiator into the viscous fan. did enough damage to the transit to have it written of,tht and its engine overheated and seized solid lol

when i was an aprentice i worked for my then  local bus company.

they used to run coaches from luton airport to victoria staion in london and back.

about once every 6 months or so, some loon on a moped doingthe knowledge would try and turn right at swiss cottage, from the left hand side of the coach.

well it was comon practice that the aprentice with the lowest grades at collage would get to clean the front of the coach once the police had finished with it.
that was a pleasent experiance,NOT

mind you .the bodshop manager was always kind enough to supply an extra bucket and some mints  ::)
