But in balance, I would never live with myself if I went home and saw on the news they had been mowed down.
I felt I had to do it :y
I'll keep my eye on the news.  :D

On a train back from Gloucester to Cardiff this evening - as we were approaching Newport from near the Freight yard, there were some teenagers, walking along the mainline!!

Immediately I alerted the conductor - he said "I'll see what the driver says". Went back in his cab - came out - "Drive says it's on the other side so we aren't going to do anything about it"

I said "You're not going to do ANYTHING about it?"

"Nope" he said.

I was stunned, and left with no choice - so I called British Transport Police on my mobile and told them about it.

Strangely, all trains came to a rather abrupt stop very shortly afterwards - causing some notable delays  ::)

Really, though - I could not believe the approach of those staff over something so safety critical.

Oh well - the departure boards in Cardiff were quite "interesting" to say the least, when I got in - good job nobody knows it was my fault or I wouldn't be popular  ;D

It's the idiots on the line who should be unpopular !!!!

Indeedy - but you'd be surprised the number of passengers neadby that didn't want me to make that call, so they could get home on time!

Money........ (no delays) springs to mind before safety.  ::) You may have saved their lives.  :y

Paddy was driving home pi$$ed as a fart, when suddenly he saw a fir tree in the road & had to swerve to avoid hitting it, then another fir tree, & another, Paddy kept swerving all over the road.

A police car pulls him over, & Paddy tells the cop all about the trees in the road.

"For Christ's sake Paddy,” says the cop "that's your air freshener!!!"  :D

Just been to the local Ford dealers, after a mirror glass for my grandads KA...

£15.03 inc VAT for a poxy piece of mirror glass which is on what has to be one of the cheapest, most common cars on the road...

Bugger that!

Funny you should mention mirror glass......... I'm in the process of looking for a facelift complete passenger mirror, (any colour  ::) ) as I only need the black insert, not the outer. Local vaux dealer want £32 + vat just for the glass, going round to the local car bits shop for one this afternoon £4.99.  :y

Posting in For Sale sections
Absolutely no links to your Ebay auctions, or Ebay auction numbers.

No posting for sale items in the 'wrong' areas to get around the postcount limits.

Currently, need to be a Junior Member (over 50 posts) to advertise your car, and an Intermediate Member (over 250 posts) to advertise parts.

If you are a buyer, please ensure you are happy and confident with the seller before parting with money.

Though as its a wanted add, might be worth Pm'ing a admin to move a post for you.

Heckmondwike eh ? :) been a few years since I last set foot there

Cheers guy's  :y  it is a wanted ad in the..... (Car Parts, bits For Sale & Wanted) section I was refering to rather than the..... (Cars for Sale & wanted). I'll keep an eye out for who's selling/breaking what I'm looking for.

Hecky  :exclamation gone right down hill over the years, alot of big company's shut down, 3 pubs left in the town, what has'nt shut down has been pulled down, and alot of shops boarded up. I see that Dewsbury is on the up though.
