Are you connecting the device via RS232 or USB?

If the latter, then.....

Is your RS232 to USB convertor correctly installed & recognised?

Was the RS232 to USB convertor supplied with the hardware, or did you purchase seperately?

What software are you using to access the AP22?

Yes....I'am connected via both a USB...converter to the serial port....and the RS232 lead.

The computer does not recognise there is new hardware plugged in..... :-/ :-/ :-/

The RS232 came with the unit........the USB came from a separate source.......I did not have the disc to go with it.

I have tried two types of software downloaded from the Race- Technology web site........but still no luck... :-/ :-/ :-/

OK. I'm probably not the most competent to comment on mechanical stuff, but I might be able to help with this on  ;)

What OS you're using? XP, Vista ..? Have a look at Device Manager by right clicking My Computer then Properties, Hardware tab and then Device Manager button. Do you see Ports (COM & LPT) listed there? Any USB to serial ports listed under that? If not, can you see any USB to serial devices listed under "Universal Serial Bus controllers" in dev. manager? Or any devices with a yellow exclamation mark in there?

Seen it before, but didn't know she was Ukrainian. Watched it with my missus and we both were in tears   :'( Having gone through a war ourselves, it was very moving.
Saying that reminds me.  We were in France with friends a couple of years ago and they took us to Oradour-sur-Glane, a Martyr Village.  That was shocking as I had no idea these villages had been preserved.  Before my time but lessons need to be learned. :(

Just had a look at some pictures of Oradour-sur-Glane. It's really sad and shocking and at the same time amazing that they've preserved it as is; good lessons to be learnt for next generations... Will have to visit there some time...

Have you looked at your settings? You can set it to turn off after 10 mins of being idle.

Yes, check your power settings. If all OK, also try to disconnect everything including USB devices, etc. (but power cord) and see if it does the same. Some cr@p USB drivers by cr@p programmers stop the PC coming back gracefully from standby, so you might think it's been turned off.

How on earth were such unbelievable figures calculated? Peter Lilley has written a trenchant letter to Mr Miliband, asking this and a series of other highly pertinent questions. But pending any reply, last week I posed this question to DECC myself. I was assured that the new figures had been worked out by “a method used by the independent Committee on Climate Change, and peer-reviewed by Simon Deitz, an expert in carbon pricing from the London School of Economics”. Dr Deitz’s website shows that last year he carried out “research for the UK Committee on Climate Change”.

Oh my... what the hell is that then? Wonder what he was doing before he became Carbon rather Pricing Expert!!! A failed economist??

There is also a documentary called "The Convenient Truth" it gives you the other side of the story.
Yes climate change is happening, did humans cause it ? no.
Governments have just latched on to the idea as, brilliant way to raise taxes, nothing more.

Mike

Agreed (haven't seen this documentary though) :y :y :y

I watched it while missus in the other room was bored with the tone of his voice lol. I don't buy in to all what he said...

And don't you worry green taxes are in place soon and our beloved government will take care of it!!!
