I dont bother repairing as quite clearly there is a design deficiency in the circuit.
I fit a 12V 25mm x 10mm PC fan in its place (requires a little bit of modding)
is that the 25 25 10 mm 1 you can buy from maplins for a fiver?

Easy enough to change but, it wont be the fan, it will be the driver electronics on the main climate PCB

got up this morning started car put heater on no blower
left it turned on about 2 mins later the blower started
went for about a minute then shut off then started again
is this normal or something wrong with it
