Hi all,
Thanks for the message Gav. Just spoken to my other half and looks like we're up for it. Mine is going to be up for sale very shortly so if any one is interested is having a closer look then feel free. Also if anyone has a diesel that they might want to swap for a 3 litre Irmscher then it might be worth bringing it along for me to have a quick look at too.
Really looking forward to this one. Better give the car a quick wash.
Cheers all,
Kieren

Have I got my dates wrong? I thought that it was the weekend just gone (which I couldn't make) and unfortunatly I don't think that I can make the 19th either coz of a wedding. But if you are all still there on the Sunday.......... :D

I like the varied location idea too.  I've got no problem travelling to somewhere interesting (like Ashbridge - and happy to meet there again) - much preferred over an industrial/shopping/leisure centre carpark.

I also appreciated the barbie and opportunity for other activities - makes it more attractive to other halves than a meet purely about sticking heads under bonnets.. ;)

I suggest naming it on the location of the specific meet for clarity on the board.

Cheers
Ian

This is exactly what we want to move away from too :y
Most areas should have 'nicer' places to meet than carparks - the Chilterns is full of Forestry Commission places.  Obviously, for the girls, some facilities are required.

That said, I can't immediately think of anywhere around here that has such facilities  :-[
Theres always Billing Aquadrome even just for a day meet. I do fancy having a long weekender up there some time, but probably not this year as I am a fair weather camper ::) ::) :y :y
Hi all,
Obviously with Ashridge being my first meet I don't have much to make comparison with but the thought of meeting up in a town car park sounds pretty horrible.
There are some great country locations around, I'll try to think of a couple suitable ones to throw at all of you.
Hope you are all well, been a busy few days so not had time to say hello.

Alright all.
Firstly massive thanks to OmegaGav for choosing the venue and to TheBoy for plugging me in to his machine and sorting out my alarm issue :) :y.
Lovely to meet you Gav and kids, Chris, Tim, Andy, Bev and family,The Boy, IanS and MrsS, my mate with the T reg Elite (sorry, not too good with names when I'm tired) and if I've forgotten anyone please accept my apologies. :(
Nice to put faces to names and great to meet people with as much enthusiasm as I have about the mighty Omega.
Had a really nice time and really sorry that I couldn't stay longer, the rest of the day was rubbish by comparison.
Great pics, Andy and looking forward to seeing the ones that Gav and Tim took.
Already looking forward to the next one and hopefully will not be so dozy next time ;)
Thanks again everyone, really great company.
Hope the enormous butterfly is doing ok :)

damm amm n treble damm..  :( :(this is the perfect place for a meet and I would have loved to have made an appearance, been to Ashridge many times but this weekend clashes with a huge Scouting event (The Gilwell24) I am a Explorer Scout Leader for my sins

Be with you in spirit though.. hope the weather is kind to us..

What a shame, oh well theres always next time
How odd, I'm also an Explorer Scout Leader. I've got a camp this weekend but there are plenty of other leaders going to make up the numbers so I should be able to ge away for the day. :y See you all there.

Sounds pretty good. Do I have to bring anything (other than the bodykit)? [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]

At the risk of sounding like a muppet, what sort of thing happens at these meets. I'd like to come along and Ashridge is not a bad journey from me but not sure what to expect.
Very proud of my car though and want to get other peoples opinions of it (even with the damage that Old Mother Hubbard did at the weekend)
Cheers all
