Omega General Help / Re: GM or pattern V6 water pump
« on: 22 March 2011, 22:04:59 »
Just had my Cam belt water pump aux belt done on my 3.2 by jamesv6cox,  :y :y although I brought genuine belt kit, couldn't justifie the over priced water pump, got the pump and aux belt from local mills auto 58 quid inc vat , although we did have the problem with the 3 vx bolts being to long and catching the pump, lucky I had 3 shorter bolts at hand which solved the problem :-?

Once you get a blind from another facelift (or prefacelift and modifiy the connection) it's a case of swap them over, plug the loom and switch in.  :y

sweet, sounds simple enough, thanks

An Elite, why hasn't it got one already?
The connection is in the back left corner of the boot, up high. It is a slim black connector, worth having a look to see if it is present.  :y

the plug is there have seen it, also have a blank next to the hazard switch, thanks
