Omega General Help / Excessive Fuel Consumption

Hi All,

The indicated average fuel consumption has just dropped dramatically on my 2.2 Auto petrol. It normally hovers sround 29mpg but yesterday dropped to 24mpg. I zeroed the reading to make sure.

Anyone have any idea what could cause this? I have a warning light (orange) that my garage says is a lambda sensor failure.

The sender on my water header tank has failed giving me a warning message 'water level low'. My local garage tells me that they can only buy the complete tank at a cost of £40. Does anybody have an alternative solution?

Hi everybody. I'm a new member fron Kent. I drive a 2.2CD in fantastic condition. I really like it, but now I'm getting older find it harder to get in and out.
